Anuradha (Anu) Agarwal was the lab technician and manager from Janurary 2022 to May 2023. She was responsible for implementing, maintaining, and developing the data, computational, and culture processes operating in the lab. Anu received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Rudgers University in 2021 and her Master in Computational Science at San Diego State University in 2023. She loves learning new languages and painting.

Colin Brown
Currently a Research Scientist at Luque lab

Master in Physics 2023
Colin Brown was a research assistant and research scientist in the lab from 2020-2023. Colin developed his Master thesis research in the lab, developing geometrical and physical models to investigate the protein shell protecting the genome of viruses. He published part of his work in bioRxiv and Microorganisms and as an installable python software package. While in the lab, he was funded by the Gordon Betty Moore Foundation and the National Science Foundation.
Kevin Joiner

Ph.D. in Computational Sciences 2019
Kevin Joiner developed his Ph.D. research thesis in the lab. Kevin developed new computational and mathematical approaches to investigate the interaction of viruses of bacteria interacting with their bacterial in mucus. He published part of his research in Scientific Reports. While in the lab, his research was funded by the DoD SMART Scholarship, the NSF S-STEM, and the CSUPERB program.
